TELEPORT TONE POEMS

My composition method is to give all individual players maximum freedom.  One of the ways I do this is by providing teleport zones in a composition.  these teleport zones go to other parts of a given score or totally off of the page.  The Joy of what I play is providing a framework for exploration.  New things happen.   A big question facing music today is how to deal with chaos of individuals.  First thing to do is to embrace that chaos within yourself.  Musically, this is the style of each musician.  What I'm trying to do is let that style express itself.  In other words, letting people be themselves in chaos.

It's not music, it's a moment of shared clarity within chaos.
Teleport Tone Poems: The teleportation idea comes from a circular/crystal graphic in my autoCAD scores; Motion Maps.  These graphics are called Teleport Balls, and they imitate how a mind can teleportto the future, the past,  imagination or virtually anywhere in a moment.   In these scores, the teleportion has always been directed outward.  Teleport Tone Poems are directed inward and isolate single impressions within a breath cycle.  I then let that impression be the outward travel for the improvisor. (example: HERE)
Re-Designs of Sonic Self Designed:: These are the Teleport Tone Poems arranged for the Breath Orchestra. The idea is to visually represent the layers of communication and the ambiguity or fuzziness is what we are in when we communicate outwards.  This distortion is inherent to our mutual subjectivity.
